weather looks good for a trip out tomorrow.

Have never been there before so any tips on where to go would be good.

Any other yakers are welcome to come and show me around or explore with me?

i think my mate and i went there in my boat took us like an hour to get there from where the barge leaves from. isnt it a green zone?

it is only just off victoria point. Not a green zone by my marine park book

Flatties and Whiting are good off the southern beach with the rising tide.

ive seen a few people get a feed just in front of the headland, soldier crabs come out in swarms at low tide and do pretty well for bait.

here's a flatty i picked up about a month ago.

watch the wind its picking up know and will be a mess out there in the next few hours.

south east corner the floating red beacon is a great spot for snapper!

Had a quick 20 minute fish at coochie today managed a couple of undersize snapper an got smashed by something BIG on 30lb that took me into a snag. I think there is some sort of reef in between the marker that wesfish is talking about and the island.

Only takes me about 5-10 minutes to get there and im using a 5hp on a small tinny.

Oh and the current runs fairly strong past the south side aswell.
