bass on troll

hi there guys just would love a bit of info on trolling for bass,do u use petrol motors,and do u use downriggers thanks.brad

Petrol is ok, I usually use electric, because I am on electric only dams!

No dont use a downrigger, (or leastways I never have) troll lures between 1m and 7m depends on the depth bass are in. Bibbed lures, lipless and spinnerbaits can all work depending on what the bass are hitting on the day.

i'd try in that cove we were sking in close to the timbers

i was thinking of that spot too,and on the right of the dam wall there is some timber there too

when we where all up there last ,on the extra we stayed i trolled some lures past them spots .

it was a bit of a half ass attempt as i was checking pots too.

but there is a fair bit of timber along that side ,steep drop off and fairly deep too.

i will be trying a bit harder when we are up there next ,as i will have the tinny .

7 days to go can't wait .

when we were up there in november trolled every where with every type of everything we had didnt get a thing. only caught bass and yellas on shrimp was the same last x-mass too . good luck al
