Stanley?

Hey fellas, I've got Monday and Tuesday off work and was thinking of taking the canoe and heading up to the Stanley for a fish. Not sure yet if I want to camp out Monday night, maybe. Does anyone want to come with, either Monday, Tuesday, or both? It won't be an early start on Monday cos I finish work late night on Sunday. My canoe takes two plus gear, or bring your own... or we could go on foot I'm not fussed.

Not sure yet mate, either bush or a camping ground, but not in town. I'll do a good map recon before I go (Google/topo/road) and decide from that and what I find when I get there.

I'm still not quite sure where I can put the canoe in, or whether I'll have to go on foot to get to the good spots. It'll be a bit of trail and error I think....

No worries, Woodford allows camping at the showgrounds, Kilcoy behind the toilet block as you come in to town.
