hey there guys just wanted to find how you guys troll you HB lures.

i have been to Boondoomba dam a couple of times in the bas few weeks and have found that trolling TN60 Jackals about 10m behind the boat is working a treat. Also trolling small HB's about 25m from the boat is also working well. but all fish have been undersized.

am i doing anything wrong or will i eventually hook that big bass. just wanted to know what you guys think???

cheers jacko

sounds like what ever your doin is working a treat.your hooking up to fish thats the main thing.keep doing what your doing and eventually you will hook a stonka.

instead of trolling try locating the school and use a cast n retrieve method allowing a sinking type lure to get down a bit deeper to where the bigger ones might be hanging.

You seem to be going ok all I could suggest is

- Use your sounder and troll the right depth lures in the right depth water

- As above find the depth the fish are siting in

- If your super keen you could look into a small down rigger

- Match the hatch

- Crack a cold one and wait for that thumper!

Cam :)
