Flashback Lure Details.

1. The body of the lure is pressed from Stainless steel and polished to a "Mirror Finish".

2. The replaceable fixed hooks on the Flashback "C" lure are Stainless Steel, Mustad 34007 7/0’s. The tinned treble hooks on the Flashbackâ€T†are Mustad size 1/0.

3. The painted weight is a lead/antimony mix and relatively hard. These can be supplied in any colour you wish provided minimum order requirements are met. Usual colours are red, green, pink, yellow, white, red/yellow, red/white and blue/white.

4. The screw and nut that attach the weight are stainless steel and the nut is secured with "Loctite"7.

5. These lures combine the action and "flash" of a spoon with the weight to cast a great distance. When retrieved the lures oscillate and this movement coupled with the flash of the Stainless Steel and the bright colours have proved to be irresistible to a wide range of fish.

6. The use of a good swivel is highly recommended. Without a swivel, If the slow trolling or retrieval speed that the lure is designed for is exceeded, the oscillations can turn into a spin that will wind up your line.

There is potential to expand this range with the use of different types of stainless steel

The Flashbackâ€C†is very popular with the pro fishermen. There is a number of different colours that you can use however the pink is by far and away the most popular colour flashback_large_AFO.jpg

Blade Runner Lure Details.

1. The blade of the lure is punched from Stainless Steel and hand polished to a mirror finish. The lead/antimony weight is keyed onto the blade via two 5mm holes that join both sides of the weight into one piece and thus prevents it from separating from the blade.

2. Both the Blade runner and Mini Blade Runner have similar swimming characteristics. A snap is recommended to attach the lure to the line. This allows quick changes of the attachment hole and prevents the rapid lure movement from damaging the line.

3. If you attach the snap to the rear hole the lure will hang head heavy and the action will commence at a relatively slow retrieval speed. With the snap in the centre hole the head is higher and the action commences at a moderate retrieval rate. The forward attachment hole brings the head higher still, providing action at a much faster retrieval speed and is suitable for trolling. The forward hole is also the best attachment point for jigging.

4. These lures are available in Fluoro Pink and Red, Blue, White, "Night" and "Rainbow". The Rainbow lure has Rainbow tape attached to the sides of the lure and the Night lure has luminous tape that is activated by a light source such as a flashlight. This lure provides outstanding results when jigged at night.

These lures are like alot of the other Blades on the market bladerunner1_large_AFO.jpg

MirrorSpoon & Ripple MirrorSpoons Lure Details.

1. The Mirrorspoon lure is pressed from .9 mm stainless steel, the Ripple Mirrorspoon lure is pressed from 1.2mm “ripple†stainless steel both lures are available in 5 sizes ie; 4-8/0, 5-9/0, 5-10/0, 6-10/0 and 6-11/0. The first number is the approximate length in inches, ( the size 6 lures are closer to 6 1/4" ) and the last number is the size of the Mustad 34007 stainless steel hook.

2. With the exception of the silver used to solder the towing ring the lure is all stainless steel. Because of this there is no galvanic corrosion caused by dissimilar metals.

3. The silver soldered towing ring is made from 2.5 mm stainless and will handle a 500 lb or 227 kg load without failure.

4. The screw that attaches the hook is stainless as well as the Nyloc® nut. In the sizes 4-8/0 and 5-9/0, the Nyloc nut is replaced by a spring washer and plain nut. Both of these are, of course, stainless steel.

5. Longitudinal grooves or ribs have been pressed into the lure and these provide stiffness as well as improving the action.

6. The lure has been polished to a "mirror Finish". The advantages of this are apparent when the lure is trolled on a bright sunny day. Under these conditions the lure will invariably out-perform all other spoons.

7. This lure is the "Rolls Royce" of spoons. Because of its corrosion free, and longlasting, construction, it is the choice of yachtsmen Worldwide.

There is potential to expand this range with the use of different types of stainless steel

The 5†Mirrror spoon is most popular with the pro mackerel fisherman in nth Qld Ripple__Plain_AFO.jpg
