where to fish

me and ma mates are keen to go for a fish today and we wanna go somewhere where we are garranteed to catch a sting ray...

we on the northside and a willing drive like 30 minutes.. any suggestions will be apreciated

it is full of them!

try luggage point or the shallows near the poop shoot and use a whole pilly on a 4/0!

make sure its on the bottom! too ezy!

Dude if you know where the mouth of Nundah Creek and Cabbage Tree Creek meet Moreton Bay at Shorncliffe there is a tiny little boat ramp there where the picnic tables etc are all by the water... You WILL catch one there.. Any bait will do - although packed prawns are the best. Sting Ray have small mouthes.

not sure why you want them i personally hate seeing them after i have fought it long and hard and thought it was a good fish. all those places mentioned sound good but one place where i have found them in abundance is at nudgee beach, in the creek which i dont know the name of but its dead easy to find, you wont miss it. theres even a fishing platform to use. every time i have soaked baits there, usually prawns, the rays have come out. really big fat ones. takes like 15 minutes to fight them, even on 80lb braid. just figured this place would be close to home for ya. happy ray hunting
