Hey guys, me and a mate headed out the weir landbased yesterday to flick some lures around. Only used plastics, mainly small squidgys. After about 10mins my plastic got smashed, and ditn know what i had hooked. Put up an awesome fight, and didnt have any idea what i had. After about 2 mins i got a look, CATTY :laugh: was abit dissapointed, but still gave an awesome fight for another minute or so, then finally landed him.

The rest of the day was quite with no more catches, apart from a little banded grunter. Also saw a few Lungfish roll on the surface which was cool to see.

Great catch anyway Dan. You did heaps better than i did today! I went there for 3 hours and ....NOTHING . used lure, mullet and prawns, and also live bait (catfish)
