Fishing Maroon Dam this weekend, Any Tips!

Hi all going fishing up at maroon dam this weekend, just wondering if any one has any reports on how the fishing is at the moment and whats working . Thanks.

if the levels rise with all the rain it might be tough to get a bite. Better take some shrimp as a plan B if the lures aren't working.

tip don't go with me ,as i get no fish .

i was there Saturday night got nothing ,other peeps where there they got fish .

Gettin a few on jackalls tn70 and on surface just on dark but you have to work very hard for them .....

it was a successful trip.

home in 1 peace ,nothing lost or fallen off and only a little wet.

oh and since i was there for half a night i enjoyed a 1/2 a dozen middies.

If your not keen on crowds then id avoid saturday arvo as abt is holding a bass electric round from 2 til 8pm,

As far as the fishing goes we got one a few weeks ago on topwater from the trees down from the dam wall

ha ha ha, thats just like me last time i fished there, travelled 2hrs to get there and absolutely nothing, that was morning though, this will be evening, so hopefully better luck this time around, thanks all for your input its muchly appreciated.
