Hi Guys

I am looking to buy a kayak for fishing. I am not sure where to start. I am looking to spend around $1000 including the paddle and accessories can anyone recommend where I should b looking. I live on the northside of Brissy and all I think of is BCF and Rosco's.

Can anyone recommend pls

Have a look at the Emotion Mojo yak for sale from nicksteel. They are a great kayak. I have one that I have decked out with a depth sounder and electric motor and its great.

What size? You wont get one of the big fishing yaks for that price, but you will get a nice yak.

If you after a smaller one you cant go past a fish bandit for around the $700 mark plus accessories.

If a slightly larger one have a yarn with Angus see what Viking have (assuming Angus is still an agent), maybe a nemo or a espri might scrape in to your budget, but been a while since I saw their new price.

If you want second hand go the trading post or courier mail, 2nd hand yaks are very expensive on the forums in comparison.
