Live bait

Were can i go to catch live bait as in Poddy Mullet, I normaly go to the gold coast to catch bait fish but all i get is baby bream and yes i throw them back, and tode fish, i dont know if i can use them as bait, and also some fish that are stripey baby size fish, and i throw them out as i dont know what they are of if its legal.

Im happy to buy live bait if theres a place that sells it.

hey mate, i find salt water creeks are your best bet make sure its not too far up the river system in case you get caught.

oh and another thing in case you didnt know the legal size of mullet is 30cm,

personally i find that extremely annoying as 30cm live mullet not so good for my fishing.

im not sure you find many who will stick to that size limit

you could also catch them in pretty much any fresh water creek with a bit of dough and cotton wool mixed up with a size 12 hook
