queensland where to buy the live baits in north or around BNE

Im heading to NPD for bass, but hardly found a tackle shop carrying live baits.

Someone can help??? Detailed address would be best, thanks

only live bait you will get would be worms, the tackle shop at Bald hills behind the caltex. It will be pretty miserable and dirty, had 4 inches here since midnight.

Dont know about northside but on southside most aquarium shops sell live shrimp at around 75 to 85 cents each. You can get the same thing from their supplier Rod Hutchings 54638226 he has redclaw farm at Aratule and delivers to brisbane area on thursdays price is $30 per 100 but will sell in batch of 50.Orders have to be in by Tuesday. If you get answermachine just leave message and he will get back to you and organise a pick up point where you can meet him. The size varies a bit depending on growing conditions.He delivers in an oxygenated plastic bag and as long as you keep them cool they will last all day till you can get them home and into a tank.

How long can i keep them alive in a tank, and what would be the ideal setup, Iv had gold fish , and small sharks no problems, will it be any different

Around 3 weeks no problems in summer and longer in winter. I just have an air pump in the tank no filter and dont feed them. If the water starts to get discoloured I change water.
