Logan running dirty

Went for an early today hoping to get a few bullies. Tried the junction, marks rocks and back up towards skinners on the incoming tide. Lots of catties around so set some fresh strips. Big hits, but lost one 1m+ bullie due to 50lb mono leader. I am testing some lighter gear on a new rod to get max thrill from the sharks. Anyway, might have to go back to the heavier leaders cause I didn't pull-in anything.

Nothing else around, just rain and heaps of debris. Be careful if you are planning a trip in Logan as there are some big logs, jams and other debris sitting just under the surface.

Has anyone else had any luck with all this rain?

Thinking about heading to the Logan Sunday arvo/night chasing sharks. I usually take the kayak and park it on the sandbank near the prawn farm at Marks Rocks out in the middle of the creek. Plenty of yabbies to pump so the bream, whiting and catties can keep me entertained while I wait for the sharks. Hopefully there are some around.

Hopefully the water has cleared up a bit by now.
