Hi, do you know the legal size of flounder? I have searched gov's sites but can't find any information.

Could swear I saw it somewhere once but maybe I was looking at the wrong state?

Yeah Angus I think its victoria has a size limit for them and open slather most other places. Don't quote me on that though...

Cool. Well I have kept a couple of them at 30cm for a feed in the past. Really nice flesh and despite what they look like very very easy to clean. The entire spine just lifts out after cooking whole. I would highly reccomend them for a feed.

However even at 30cm you get a minimal ammount of meat so I would not be keeping them much smaller.

according to the reference books the types we get here only grow to 40cm
