Trevally Maybe

Hi Guys and Gals,

Not sure what this it looks like a trevally at first but has a mouth like a John Dory any ideas? Fought like a trev (gave up when it saw the boat). It was around 35cm caught off a secret island 2 km of maroochydore haha.

It's not a Queenfish. My guess is a Tealeaf Trevally, but it's really difficult to tell without pictures from every angle and accurate pictures and notes (ie fin ray counts etc) of every Trevally species at hand.

But it is some sort of Trevally!

i have been getting them at mud island, they go hard like all other trevs, they have dull gold spots on the lower sides, soft membrane mouth no tail flutes, very soft fish, maybe white trevally or other not sure!!

After googling long nose trevally it appears that is what it is. Sorry about the crappy picture and bad description. Had a great day out that day should have been called the 1cm boat because everything was 1cm under dont you love that. Are they worth keeping for the table.
