Lucanus Jig or equivalent

Thinking of getting one of these style lures for the hell of it to try in the Moreton Bay Classic. Saw a JM Gillies versions for $10.

Has anyone had much luck with these? Do the Snapper like them?

ive seen snapper cuaght on them with the rod just left in the rod holder, i think the any current will give the streamers or watever you want to call them a fair bit of movement. i also have one of the cheaper models but am yet to try it out

ive got a heap of the lucanis jigs the are awesome, ive cought snapper, coral trout, sweet lip, on them

I bought some cheap ones off ebay and i have got the real thing and they both catch fish i carnt see the difference between them
