What fish is it?

I caught this in Moreton Bay, it was 28cm. I have had a look on the net and there are two that look similar but the tail is different, apologies for the picture quality, it was at night on the beach and I was trying to get a reference to use as a measure.

Yellow tail (yaka) very good for live bait for kingies,mackrel and big snapper

yeah you can also knock a side off them too, great strip bait.

Just wondering Elops is this the same yellow tail as the Sydney yellow-tail that frequents warfs and jettys in Sydney harbour? I only ask because it looks slightly different in body shape.
