South Pine again

Hi all,

Just a quick one today. Headed up the South Pine yesterday morning early; on the water at 0530.

Picked up my first bream on soft plastic. Ended up with 3.

Then headed out to drift and flick for some lizards up towards Dohles Rocks. Dropped a monster and landed this one.

Sorry for the photo quality today, did't charge the camera and decided not to muck around while taking the photos.

Cheers

congrats on your first plastic bream mate :)

my only bream on plastic has been a foul hook, so i don't count it. i really need to get out and get one. i'm pretty sure i've got all the right gear just some bad luck and technique work (plus the right spot) that i need to work on.\

good work mate, bad luck on dropped the lizard

hooked_on_trout, mate I use 4lb flouro straight through on a Daiwa CY 1500, rod is a Mojiko Plastix. Jighead is 1/20 and the plastic was a 2 inch gulp shrimp, colour was halfpenny.

FishoDave, mate all I can see is be persistent. Troll through the posts using the search engine there is plenty of info on the subject. I have been seriously trying for around 18 months for the those bream. It has helped now I've got my boat in the water, can get to some good ground now.
