Had to babysit some of the grandchildren down in the hinterland on sat night so made sure the rods went in as well. Sun morning picked up a few bass before I had to go and march, then had a family lunch together, then later in the day wandered back down the creek for an arvo session, catching a few more bass. All bass on surface lures except the biggest at 35cm caught on a 1/4oz white s/bait with green/white teaser on stinger hook. Atomic hardz kept on the surface done the trick with most fish, as I was fishing fast running shallow water, the bass were laying in the crevices in the shadows and striking at the lures when they passed over thier heads. Sure is a fun way to spend Anzac day.

did some "fast water skinny bassin" myself today, got 4 little wild bass up the back of tallebudgera.
