i want to .

but i got heaps of stuff to do so probably not ,but u never know .

see how thursday goes .

See if ya can get out mate. be good to meet a few of the guys from AFO.

As miss Munchkin said, i'll be stuck on the shore, high and dry. Won't be able to get on the water till I get my kayak, and that will be a while.

It will be interesting to see the success rates of a few different colours of jigs if a few people turn up too.

hey guys, yeah, still heading out tonight. Should be down there by about 8, gotta stock up on tackle and get ready, then run out there.

Special on the daiwa squid jigs at tackle warehouse, gotta grab some.

Do$tylz, well be on the jetty by 8 if ya come out. i'll be in a white commodore and it'll be me and the missus. U'll recognise me as i'm the only person mad enough to use a t-curve to jig for squid, Most people get scared they might get dirty. Lol

Im hoping so too! Mr Felix and I may be moving around depending on what the action is like... Im hoping to pick up a few decent fish aswell as my first squid. It is going to be fun!!!

Would be awesome to meet you if you come Do$tylz.

If it helps and you come out, I will be wearing a hat and a shirt that is either a black singlet or I will have a shirt that says "Im Lost, please take me home with you..." on (if I havent taken it off for holding fish like happy moments)and Mr Felix will be in Long Navy blue work pants and a short sleaved navy blue shirt.

If we dont see you, come say Hi

i was planning on my first squidding adventure tonight somewhere between manly and cleveland, probably heading out there around 7. Will be land based as well so i will look out for anyone (might be a bit difficult, don't know what anyone looks like!)

i'll be the guy that looks like he has no idea what he's doing. should be easy to spot

HAhahaha... I guess we went to different jettys... I was at the Gunn and met with Serghut...

UNBELIEVABLE amounts of herring there... each cast had herring filling my net top to bottom. It was so bad that after the 3rd cast I retired the net coz I was sick and tired of pulling out the little ones.

No squid on the jigs but 2 small ones in the net, and 1 big one trying to take off with my popper.

got to wellie point around 8pm and was wandering around in the dark when I bumped into this couple who turned out to be Mr felix and Ms Munchkin.

then mac and james mac and wife turned up for a chat.

Also met Eug and gf.

Good to put some faces to names - nice meeting everyone.

Current running too strong, no hits at all, biggest thing we saw was this turtle.

Dostylz - i did the same, halfway there and I forgot if it was william gunn or wellington. had to make a call back home and get missus to log on and check!

till next time

ahhh we did a fly by at william gunn i was wondering why there were so many herring scales on the deck.

also went to another spot i know of, a couple of guys had 1/2 bucket full of squid.

i was tight for time and totally forgot my spot light, only managed one squid follow but no hook up.

Good to put some faces to names guys.

As for that night, dun de dun dun doughnut for me and the missus got herself a sand crab on a prawn (No doughnut for her. DAMNIT). Not a squid in sight.

Did miss a huge one yesterday. Would of been 2 feet long and nailed the jig after spitting out the herring it was chewing in favour of my Yamashita. Hit hard, pulled drag and GOOONE.

Once again, DAMNIT
