queensland bass on sammys

thought it might be getting a little cool for the bass to be hitting the surface lures. Went for a quick chuck this morning, after half an hour throwing divers with know result thought it wouldnt hurt to try the sammys out. Pulled 2 fish off the first snag, and one from under a grassy over hanging bank, all in bout half an hour. all taken on red, gold and silver sammy. all released

seems everytime i get a bass on a sammy its hooked on the middle trebble, but when i get bream they are always lightly hooked on the rear trebble.

did return trip this morn ended up with a stonker for this water 37cm, and got bricked 1st cast of the day on a submerged log.

again on sammys, again all released.
