going to hit the mermaid and gravel patch early so if anyone wants to tag along in their boat and get some new spots you are welcome will be at the ramp on the spit at 0500

how far out is the Gravel Patch Mark, and what are you chasing there?

the gravel patch is a large area that runs from around 3 to 4 nautical mile offshore i will be targetting spanish mackerel, spottie macks, dolphin fish, cobia and marlin. it sits right in front of tallebudgera creek and is about 35m deep

mate forgot to mention in my report yesterday that the seaway was breakin on the sothern rock wall at low tide,stick to the middle or the northern side and should be all good,hope u get a few mate all the best

Good luck Mark I spent the day out in the Bribie Passage showing the boat off to some friends so stuck to the garden for a couple of days Hope the weather stays fine for you
