hit up jw with keen-as, his dad pete and dassa this morning. my first fish was a 43cm flattie on one of scrote's home-made blades. then when i lost it to the weeds i tied on a stiffy vibe. dropped a suspected gt but then quickly hooked up another one which gave a good account for himself for a 35cm fish. meanwhile kreel had caught his first gt on a surface lure and keen-as had caught a couple off the surface as well. pete eventually caught his first ever gt later on, leaving dassa with the unenviable title of donut king for the day. better luck next time mate!

Very nice morning this morning before the predicted 7 knot winds got flogged out Dad came along today as he was itching to get onto the trevs which have been getting filleted in the kitchen fairly often lately. The morning started slow with the first small trev coming around 630 followed by a better model a few minutes later. I then went up to the 4 way junction and flicked sp's for while getting several rat bream and a small jack

I also managed to get a bream on a blade, which I have been trying to do for several trips :woohoo:

Dad finally got onto his trev when we returned to the marina at 1045ish on a blade which he later lost, but no pic was taken.

Yes it was a great day one the water with some top people and nice to meet pete (father of keen-as)I'm thinking of changing user name to krispy Kream but bring on the MBC then well see who has the last :laugh:

lucky I chucked a sickie and was a no show. Dassa would have made me swim back as punishment for outfishing him again :laugh:
