Removal Tinny Nav Lights

Ok so started a new thread because I didn't want to hi-jack steve's Nav light one

Are those suction cup/clamp on nav lights from BCF legal as long as they're in the right position?

The reason I'm asking is because I got pulled over for lights the other night. Fixed the Nav lights up but the all round white is a problem because its for a tiller, and mine has at some stage(by a previous owner) been converted to center console. Meaning the light is no longer legal as it is not at the highest point of the boat..

The water police also told me my all round white light maybe wasn't bright enough because my battery was low - but its easily brighter than the BCF ones.

Was thinking just a temp (BCF style) all round white ducked taped in to one of the rocket launchers on my t-top - just to get through the MBC next weekend, with a view to then get it sorted properly later.

i use the bcf lights. water police came over and had a check at noosa and asked for the score in the footy and left. so they must be legal

have been pulled over 15+ times and only got fined on the last one so dont count on it lol.

nothing wrong with the lights themselves positioning is the issue scope
