A chap was mowing the lawn across the street from me and when he was ready to leave his car would not start, so he came over and knocked on my door. So I grabbed the jumper leads out of the garage and took my vehicle over to help out. In the 15 mins it took me somebody walked into my garage took 2 rods + reels and a sander. I was only over the other side of the street but was engrossed in what I was doing and did not see anything. Did not notice till next day when I went to put new line on one of the reels.

from personal experience what will burn deeper is.. not only has some lowlife stolen from you and you have to replace the items, but they have invaded your personal sanctuary to do it.

Sorry for your' loss mate. I've had a similar incident, probably had a few hundred dollars worth of gear taken whilst fishing in NSW. Can't ever be too careful.

I'll be sure to keep my eyes open for any sus gear matching the description of yours' popping up on the market
