Watersnake bow mount control problems

[Scope]

Ok so, got my watersnake all installed. Seem to be having a bit of a problem with controls. Unit is brand new

Turns left and right fine, but can't seem to get the prop to spin at all.

Instructions are very vague in the pamphlet - just wondering if someone who has one could give me a few pointers???
