Ecopark

Recommended Posts

Hey all, has anyone been to ecopark before? Last time I went I just caught a heap of lil silve pearch. I was only using their lil pellets as bait. I wanna catch the bigger fish....the bass, yellow belly, barra, Saratoga etc

I'm planning to take a few lures this time but I wanna know what bait is best for the bigger fish, and where can I catch it or buy it from. Also any advice on which lures to try?

Any advice would be awesome

Chris

scope - that'd be the one.

We had gone there when they had only just put the barra in so they were quite shy.

Buy i found that little size 12 or 16 hooks (the tiny ones for gar fish) were the best. The ones they provide you are too big and the fish are very aware of the hooks. The tiny hooks are small enough to put a burley pellet on when you chuck out a few to bring the fish up. Easy :)

that's one thing I noticed. The silver perch were dumb and ate anything that landed on the water lol

but the bigger fish we very clever, ther would eat every bit of burley except for the one with my hook in it lol
