Finally got on the dam this morning after an absence of over 2 months.

Cant even begin to explain how good it felt.

Arrived a bit late so had a bit of a walk down the hill after parking the car and off we went.

Dropped in 12 redclaw pots on the way and trolled down to the bottom of the dam where I skunged 10 shrimp from Graham.

We ended up with 6 nice fat bass before running out of bait.

This is my share of the catch the smaller one was a male ant the larger female full of roe.

Did the redclaw pots on the way back and did quite well.

This lot from around a 3 hour soak.

Lawn rake used to divide into 3 separate lots.

Feels so good we am going back tomorrow.

Nice Ray - catching that many redclaw through the day? If you do not mind, what bait do you use? I only pick up one or two through the day. Cheers Ted

Dried cat food. Anything is working as they are really thick.Going to use bass frames today.
