hi all

got on the water early saturday as the weather was looking good all weekend :P met J-Dog... (joel) at nudgee boat ramp and off we headed up jacksons. after not much atall for about half an hour decided to take a run up shultz.

when we reached the bridge we found an abnormal amount of prawns taking cover under the bridge and after 10 minutes had easily 2kg of bait sized schoolies and 2 sand whiting. after 2 bream at the pilons decided to flick some plastics around. after 20 minutes finally landed a good fat healthy bream on a 2" shrimp. he went around 32 33. after this joel was on with a flathead that went just over legal. he kept bringin in the just legal flathead while i was getting smoked and busted off -.- went a bit quiet so took a run further up the creek and got onto some nice sized hard fighting fish. first cast joel was onto his pb bream with a live prawn went 33 or 34cm i followed by a 29cm bream and so forth (pics of fish below) after a few nice fish joel gets onto a screamer. and after a long fight lands a good flathead of 58cms great fish mate, on the last cast managed an alright sized genie mudcrab. they must still be around?. then we went home to get a good nights sleep for the next days early start for boat rock with joel.

sorry for the short post

thanks

cracking tagging sesh guys top effort :woohoo: some real fat bream and nice flatties, oh and the whiting  should get your self a tag gun and t bar tags for the smaller fish like whiting and the smaller model bream ;) looks a bit weird with a spear tag hanging out or dart tag what ever you call them these days :)
