Soft plastics on lightly weighted jig heads for bream or heaver one's to keep them on the bottom for flathead and you may even pick up some trev's

If your using bait give the old yabbies or worms a crack good luck and get there early.

Hey mate i would try the north or south wall of the seaway with live bait ,had some smashed there on saturday arvo, and also got couple of nice taylor not that i keep them.

Spoke to some divers at the ramp and they said there is some big jacks sitting in the rocks on the bottom, but you will have to be good to get them out before they wrap you up in the rocks, look forward to looking at some pics..

As you head out of the seaway north is to your left.

The end of the north wall i find is best for tailor, jew and bream.

I have had kingies and tailor on the north side of the north wall.

Drift along the north wall right back to the bend by the marker and even around the corner.

Just before the marker and the no anchor sign there is a pipe that runs across the seaway to the concrete platform where the surf taxi stops.

In front of the vmr for flatties

in the middle of the seaway just back from the vmr is a hole.

The north wall on wave break island, which is behind you as you go out the seaway

These are all places i try, persist with the north wall.

And finally look out for birds going crazy and tailor/bonito smashing.

Good luck

like the boys have said the north wall is the go and towards the end just past the last tree on it's own and you don't get to close to the wall try about 30m from it with livies and pillies 1 floating 1 on the bottom and a hour either side of the turn of the tide is the best
