whats goin on.? julia gillard! in all of the news reports i have seen her in. i dont think she has done anything except nod her head in agreement to her party and shake her head in disagreement to the opposite party. whats goin on australia?

I think with the election not too far away a few too many were worried about their re election prospects. With the polls for Rudd heading south they took what appeared to be the next best option.

I just wish the libs would stop playing destabilising politics. They are not only hurting labor they are hurting themselves as well with the disenchanted switching support to the greens. As I see greens will potentially hold balance of power and the deals that will be done will certainly hurt fishing amoung other things.

Christ, I just watched Ruddy's fairwell speach. What a toss. Really how far can someone be up their own self........... I had to turn it off, as we only have one big TV :S

In our system we don't vote in our PM. Unlike the US system, you vote for you local member who represents a party, who can overturn their leader whenever. IMHO unfair but totally legal
