Building a HB Arsenal!!!

Hey AFO'ers!!!

I am slowly acquiring a selection of HB's for light land based fishing in Brissy river and GC seaway/canals.

My shopping list so far!:

Sx40

Jackall Chubby

Prawn Star

Atomic Hardz minnow

River 2 Sea Baby vibz

I figure this covers most of my bases, but any recomendations would be very apreciated!

you should throws some soft plastics into the mix aswell. Maby some squidgy wrigglers

i second dell, cant beat a sammy for top water, ive also had some good success on the surecatch minnows (ecogear look alike)

nw pencil is not a Sammy, same maker different model.

Both are good lure thugh , just the Sammy is a bit bigger.

mate i suggest the atomic crank deep's they work pretty good, iv never caught anything on my 2 prawn stars

definatly get some plastics, some gulp shrimp, powerbait bass minnows and snapback grubs should get you on the way just be carefull with the gulp stuff as they dry out easy and never reseal which is bloody annoying

dt60 = deepthroater 60mm ; nadders aka dan off this site makes them and he does really well in the river

those dt60's being 60mm wouldent they be a touch big for bream? i have caught heaps on 50mm hard bodz but only in narrow profile

id be interested im definatly going to get a heap of nadz lures when i get my heavyer gear so i can target jew and jacks

i've caught a stack of bream on the Threadybuster Jnr (deepthroater has been renamed btw) commonly snapper/jew bycatch. Can't say i've necessarily targetted bream on them but ive caught plenty ranging from the usual 20cm rats up to the biggest at around 40cm

You will have to make a dedicated bream model nadders, if there smashing the one you didnt make for them itll clean up.

one other suggestion i forgot for hb's cultiva mirashad! they perform well outside theyre pricerange
