4 Seaway Jewies

Fished the seaway tonight 6pm till 9pm.Firstly headed to the canals to castnet livies managed a few herring and some big mullet. Then went straight to the north wall and had it all to myself, plenty of boats inside on the bend.In a very short time managed four jewies all on livies, 63,65,66,67cm, my previous PB was 51cm so was very pleased the only downside was my daughter had my camera so had to use my phone hence the poor quality photo,s.

The rig i used if intrested. 30lb braid, 40lb black magic leader, 10mm sinker straight to a 2/0 hook, herring throu the eyes and mullet up throu the nose.

All caught on my new Raider snapper rod 1st blood.

Cheers

at that size they're great fun on the light tackle i actually prefer chasing the jewies to old mr treddy these days

cheers
