i just got an email from the tagging program im with notifying me that one of my bream have been recaptured :ohmy: . it was caught only 19 days ago. its a shame he kept it but im still pretty chuffed

Looks like the commercial has taken that fish from nudgee beach, at least he reported it.

More to the point, good on ya for tagging mate. Some valuable info gets obtained from that. Does this mean they send you a cert for every one of your tagged fish caught?

hi all. i have had 3 of my bream recaught since and one is quite interesting. a bream i tagged at 27cms made its way to scarborough reef 18km from cabbage tree creek where it was tagged. was recaptured at 29cms. hungry buggers ay.

Good one Pat, a lot of recaptures come from commercial fishers.

Even had a Bass recaptured by one once, not released either

This has heaps of interesting recaptures.
