Hi All

Seeing Alo's report, I thought I would post a pic from a quick session yesterday down the mouth of the river. All fish caught on pilchards on the drift and all within a 20 minute window of time with 2 of us fishing. Looks like a great snapper season coming up. Others at the ramp had caught good squire at various places from Mud to the reclaimed area. The snapper all went between 37 and 40cm and the cod were both a tough over 50cm. Lost a couple of unstoppables as well and only a couple of throwbacks. Apologies for my usual last minute crappy photo.

Brian, they came on the bite just before the turn of the tide (high). Had to change the drift when a ship was heading out of port and didn't really get back onto them after that.
