well guys mum and dad have decided that this school holidays the family will be going down to stanthorp and do the whole winery tour and all that. me not being all that interested in that have voted that while the girls are doing the wine me and dad should go over to glenlyon dam while we are there.

any tips for the dam would be great cheers

sounds like a fun trip mate, try assorted spinnerbaits, chatterbaits, big deep hard bodies. hope you can nail a huge cod and monster yella

hey thanks mate, any lures i should really take, also what pound line should i use. i'll be taking my barra baitcaster so the rod will be fine but i was puzzeled for line weight. at the moment i have 10 pound braid on there with a 15 pound trace.

he also went to glenlyon dam dam and had alot of luck on his lures

Mate fish the rocky points with deep diving lures rmg pack rats in purple works well out there but up grade your hooks with the big cod around.

I was trolling with 10lb mainline and 30lb leader most of the time, but if you are targeting the brutes like I did the second day it was 50lb with 80lb leader
