queensland Would like to fish this weekend

Hi guys,

Im over here from the UK and Im an avid carp fisherman. I would love to go fishing here for carp too! Im also up for any kind of river/lake/pond fishing. I went to AFO Winter Camp last weekend and had a great time catching bass.

Anyhow if your planning to fish either this Saturday or Sunday and would like a deckie/company, please let know! (Comes with free beer!!)

I live in Brisbane and happy to travel via public transport to meet you. I dont really mind what type of fish I catch really, it doesnt have to be carp.

The weather is not looking to good this weekend and I reckon there will not be to many people heading out this weekend. You may want to check out a spot in one of the more protected spots. I will drop off the old rod at your unit in the next couple of days. It should get you started. If the weather looks up on the weekend I may head out somewhere. You are welcome to tag along with me and the boys.

Cheers Ted, If I dont get any joy I may go down to the Enogerra creak where you showed me. The weather does look crap, but I may get lucky with a break in the weather to give me a chance to get out. Either way Id be more than happy to help out with the boys if I dont get too many other options, and thanks again for the rod, that will help me out massively!

Yeah Im always happy to share tips and techniques! If you want to know anything in specific just ask. Yeah I realised pretty quickly that they are pests over here. Maybe we could export them to the UK, a 20lb plus fish is worth quite a lot of money.. Thousands infact!
