Hit the seaway yesterday morning, it was flat as, got a handfull of large mullet from the canal and off i went.

First boat there and second livie down and a screaming run i called it a decent jewie at first, but no a pb tailor going 65cm on the mat.

Ended all up another 2 tailor at 40 and a trevally at 40.

Then back home before the wind picked up. CIMG0123_AFO.jpgCIMG0133_AFO.jpg

Cheers guys, i read on here this week someone classed tailor as a vermin fish, i really dont agree, i love tailor fishing and they hit hard and fight well.

Think that was nadders just having a laugh mate  A bloke who catches the size and quality of fish he does can afford to be really picky

Awesome mate - would have been a solid fight. What line and rig did you use? I agree I love to catch and eat Tailor.

I use 40lb black magic leader with 2 snelled 2/0 hooks and a very small sinker.

Curtii, it was in a boat of the north wall in the seaway.

You're putting the longterm locals to shame with a good tailor like that. Can you please PM admin requesting a username change to "Bri the new Aussie" :P
