Out fished

I managed to sneek out for a fish with my 2 n 1/2 year old daughter on Saturday, (I've infected her with the fishing bug nice and early.) When ever she sees me grab a rod she says "We go fishy?, I come to?"

Just went down to a kid friendly spot at Tally, grabbed a bag of prawns and her sand castle kit (incase she gets bored.)

We fished for about 3 hours and the tally stood...

Charli: 1 bream, est length 28ish, 1 whiting,est length 25is. (est length due to fish being kind enough to de-hook themselves close to the shore line.)

Dad: Donut.

Out fished by a girl a third of my size. :dry:

my son is 22 months old. not quite up to the task of fishing yet. but to see your daughter out there at 2 1/2 makes me think it wont be long till my little guy is doing the same. to think I can have a family day out and fish!!

2.5 hey.. cool, My son's 2nd birthday is today.

Last time we went out I lost my torch and some tackle overboard :-(

Not keen to have him throwing a rod overboard yet LOL although fingers crossed he'll get it together in six months!
