Feral was on way to NPD this morning with daughter and when he was driving along he had a coughing fit and thought I dont feel too good and went to pull into side of road and the next thing he remembers his daughter was shaking him and saying wake up dad.

Insurance ( Alliance) wouldnt tow boat so I had to go and tow it home for him.

They are also giving him a hard time because he used RACQ to tow the car to the Racq holding yard and are asking Feral to pay both the RACQ towing bill and alst to cost to move the car to an Alliance approved repair shop.

The boat was not damaged but the winch post on the trailer was pushed forward about 4 inches and the u bolts securing the post bent.

Hate to think what would have happened if the post would have let go.

Spent the rest of the morning taking Feral to doctors where he had ecg and blood tests trying to determine why he passed out.

In the meantime doc says no driving till we find out why and if they cant find anything no driving for 3 months without any more episodes.

Could have been a lot worse if he would have swerved into oncoming traffic as Beehive road is very busy at 7.30am.

Cheers

Ray

Mate Im glad to hear feral and his daughter's ok. Also glad no one else was injured too, that could have been real messy. Hope nothing bad comes from the tests.

A positive is my dad went through a similiar scenario, minus the car luckily. But he would start coughing then wake up on the floor flat on his back. The docs couldnt find anything and it hasnt happened for over 12 months. Fingers crossed

Prayers are with u Feral! :)

wholly hell.. thats full on.

As everyone has already said, thankful that the accident wasn't any worse. Hope your granddaughter is ok... it would have been pretty traumatic to experience that.

Best wishes to Andrew and hope the tests come back with a clean slate.

Bloody hell. Very lucky. Hope you get going real soon Feral.

Had a black out myself and the law in NSW is I couldnt drive for three months and had to have to brain scan, balance on one leg with eyes closed. Try it. Told doc when I failed that's why I didn't join the bloody circus.

Funny thing is I was told my grey matter had shrunk (age 62)and I told the doc that's because of all the grog and whatever I've drunk.

Get well soon Feral.

Holly Sheesh! Thats so sad to see! Im sad this has happened to Feral and his daughter.. Best wishes goes out to you both.

Bloody typical insurance companies! Where the hell is the sympathy!

Regarding the tow, they cannot make feral pay for the tow! Thats a good one for the insurance ombudsman.

I was thinking of the big fella while we were away too. Shocking news to get back to. Hope all is well. Tell Feral I've sent him a big kiss - that'll be a good test to check his health.

PS Did he catch anything or did he whimp out on the fishing ? :pinch:

Ohh man.... now that is a story that has the best outcome possible! Cars and boats can be replaced, but people can be pretty fragile.

Glad that Feral and co survived well and intact :-)

And even more glad that he has been given the all clear to drive as your RMDL is connected to your car licence..... Mmmmmmmmmmmm!!

Its the no driving thing that had him the most worried.

Cheers
