We set out at 6.00 am this morning to make the most of the predicted weather. The sunrise was beautiful as we headed over to Dunich for a visit with Uncle Trev. We got there around 7 and the find the wind was fresh and sending a good swell through the area. We dodged the ferries and water Taxi for a while caught a few small trevs with my nephew happy to get onto one as well. We got a bit sick of the winds so we took of to Maclaey Island to se if we could get onto some Squire. What a waste of time. We fished there for a few hours and then my brother pulls out a Banana and starts hoeing down. WHAT THE, WHAT IS A BANANA DOING ON MY BOAT. After a short argument I made my nephew and him eat them and dispose of the skins. We picked up a few shovel nosed rays but that was all the action.

We headed over to the channels on the side Macleay to chase some flatty since we now got ride of the bananas. We trolled along the drop offs and got some good action. I hooked up at first and got a 55 to 60cm to the boat but my brother stuffed the netting and it eventually cut the 4lb leader and got away. We got my nephew onto a 42 cm fish and a few others and left there happy. Fishing_MB_003.jpgFishing_MB_006.jpgFishing_MB_010.jpgFishing_MB_013.jpg
