queensland a week on Straddie coming up

can't wait for the first week of August

never fished there before but some of the AFO reports look great - not sure if I'd swim across to the LBG platform though....

will be landbased and taking the yak as well - with my wife only so not planning to take the boat over unless I can find deckies on the island.....anyone?? Also seen damage done to boat trailers on the mainland side as they're loaded on the ferry - wasn't good - looks tide height dependent maybe?

If anyone else fishing Straddie that week be good to catch up

Woo hoo! Youll have a great time mate.

Land based at Dunwich can be more productive than the local bait crew make it look. Try around the rocks there as well.

Beach launches at Home beach are usually easy as being as flat literally as many dams.

I will actually be there in September not August but good luck mate.

As you have read the Straddy reports that should have opened a great deal on insite I wont bother repeating.
