Hey all,

I'm wanting to go to wello point tomorow for a fish. Il be goin about an hour before high tide, will the fishing be anygood during the day? I was gonna go bright and early until I saw it's low tide in the morning lol

Also I see people have had a bit of luck using a burleigh trail, can anyone guide me on how exactly to do the burleigh trail? Wat to use etc

Easiest burley is minced Pilchard or other oily fish, mixed with bread crumbs and fish oil, put it in a bag, make a small ball with your hand and toss it out every now and then. Don't burley to much or the fish won't be hugry any more :cheer: .

Main species are bream and pike. Fish around the pillons with a fairly light line (you won't get much with 30lb.

It is normally very busy on the jetty so be patient.

Cool thanks mate. If the jetty is to busy is there somewhere else around there you would suggest?
