Seaguar Knot

Saw this knot in a fishing mag last month. It's for joining mono to a fluoro leader but I have been trying it on braid to fluoro or mono leader for a few weeks now and hasn't let me down but I haven't had a big struggle on it yet. It's super easy to tie and to remember. I thought it would be a good one to share and see if anyone else has tried it or had any comments.

If it's not clear enough let me know I will try to find the mag and give it a scan as this was taken with my phone camera.

looks way easier than the normal mono to braid. might give it a crack this weekend and let ya know how it goes

Sorry, I meant to say I was using for joining braid main line to fluoro or mono leader. My brains a bit drained from a 3.30 am start ... I've fixed the original post

i saw the same article and have been using it ever since then , it is way easier to tie than other knots and so far i have been very happy with it. Strength wise it has not been tested to the max (more of my abilities than anything else ) but it has held up on some nice fish with light line.
