Another day in paradise.

The day didnt start off too well.

First I forgot to set alarm and didnt wake up till 4.45 so grabbed some provisions to make some saqngas and coffee I left home at 5am only to get as far as Capalaba to remember that I had left rods at home.

I briefly contemplated handlineing with some leader but ended scooting back home to get rods.

After a fairly fast trip ( Luckily none of Bootys mates around) I reached paradise at 6.30 and off I went with just a slight breeze to ruffle the surface.

Got a few shrimp and redclaw on the way and met Dino who had been getting a few bass.

I went to one of the usual spots and soon picked up this as a starter.

The fishing was a bit sporadic with the fish coming through in schools. I had a couple of double hookups.

Ended up with around a dozen bass smallest 33 and largest in mid 40's.

They are still full of little boneys and make the boat pong when they spew them up. Have to be really carefull that I dont step on them and crush them into the carpet.

Redclaw were down in numbers but the quality is very good with between 15 to 20 to the bucket full.

Met up with Jake at the ramp and had a bit of a natter and headed off home after a very good day.

Cheers

Ray
