Had a slow day on the lures yesterday but managed a few on shrimp, including a 53cm and another stumpy bass, this is the second stumpy in the last few weeks, I think they may have come from the same release.

Nice fish again Dino. That is one weird looking fish. The head on it looks a little like a EP.

Is the Stumpy a seperate species or a genetic/growth thing?

Re the stumpy Bass Dino,

Been a few of these turning up, would like to get some otoliths from these fish. Or the whole fish if possible.

Did you do the otolith removal training ? Or if not could you keep the next one you catch.
