Ive been reading of some small trevally being caught at the dunwich jetty on this forum and others so im doing a trip there tonight. Just wondering if anyone would know if small plastics be the go there at night or surface poppers, my guess would be surface poppers and if so would the retrieve be similar to large gt's and the like with a fast skipping retrieve or should i slow it down a little or even small pops and jerks??

Also will be doing some drifting at mud island at some stage through the night or possibly early morning.

the trevs are right through the water column. If there are kingies about, they will take your popper, and never give it back as they take off under the jetty faster than you could dream of winding. Best plastics for me have been in the 2-3 inch sizes in natural colours, good luck
