queensland NPD Session and ID plz.

headed out to NPD at nite to get some redclaw, while waiting around, i was flicking a lures just to past time and landed these. i kno they some type of perch but not sure wat type. maybe silver or gold? caught them on a hard body atomic

Fail on the red claws not even one. but still had a awsome night

some quick pictures and they were back in the water.

Couple of nice yellabelly,golden perch,or callop if you are from that other state.

the 3rd one looks like a Silver Perch to me.

(Just as a footnote, I believe you now need a SIP permit to fish at NPD.)

Great session for sure. Good to see a silver in the mix too!

A quick reminder for anyone thinking of wetting a line at NPD, you need an SIP (stocked impoundment permit) to legally fish there.

Silvers have a fork tail; yellas have a fan tail. Also silvers have a much smaller mouth.

Silvers have a fork tail; yellas have a fan tail. Also silvers have a much smaller mouth.

Silvers normally go a bit harder too. Compare the pectoral fins for a help as well.
