Headed out for a session with Benno yesterday arvo/evening after receiving a leave pass for visiting the Ron Mueck exhibit at the art gallery with the family on Saturday.

Mueck does those larger and smaller than life sculptures...you may have seen them in emails etc. Pretty impressive work. The girls seemed to enjoy it more than the blokes. Although being at the art gallery, I'm sure a few of the dudes got a kick out of the sculptures as well.

Been as well. Its a pretty awesome exhibit.

So back to the fishing....

A lot of undersize squire 15 -30 cm, pike, trumpeter,....pickers etc.

Finally Benno had a bit of weight on and I'm pulling in something that doesn't feel familiar.

Very happy with that and a successful release, we turned our attention to the waiting catch of mine

A bullseye apparently. Magic eyes that appeared like a hologram when held at the right angle (which I didn't quite capture on the vid)

Headed home early, through a rain squall, as we were both well satisfied with our efforts. I gave up the unopened Tim Tams to benno..... a gift I later regretted as I caught up on AFO reading without one

I am impressed how good the reel looks. Just imagine how many rods are at the bottom of MB - I know my brother has 3 down there.

it a reel shame...

based on the growth it would have been down there at least 12 months. surprising how these plastic bodied kmart reels don't corrode!
