Repairing loose rod tip

Hey all

One of my rods has a loose tip that isn't quite coming off, but can twist it about 45 degrees. Want to fix this before SOO but don't want to mess it up obviously.

Just wondering what i need to do to fix it up, like epoxy or knot sense or something similar and potentially taking off the old epoxy...

If i need to pass on more info, just ask.

Any tackle store should be able to sell you fuji hot glue for the tip. All you need to do is melt the old stuff off, then melt a new one on. It comes with instructions. Cost is about 10 dollars for the glue.

Alternatively, drop into the tackle warehouse, they can prob do it then and there, will cost you bugger all.

I'd lend you my hot glue but Ryan Young still has it

mate I a have some glue if you want to bring it to SOO. I am not the best at taking the old tip off but I know there are some experts in the AFO ranks. Cheers Ted

it's certainly coming, gonna get some last minute stuff prolly from Jones' in the next coupla days. failing that will see what we can do at SOO
