Daiwa Luvias Rods

Ok, last time I tried to write a thread asking 'what should I buy' it was a disaster, so please bear with me if this one is as bad. :laugh:

I went to tackle warehouse the other day to try several rod and reel combos (1-2kg) range, with the intention of this combo serving as a 'bream' rod only. Therefore, it would be throwing small plastics, hard bodies and poppers/stickbaits.

I have settled on a reel (Luvias Custom DA), however after looking through the loomis rod rack and nearly dying at the price tags (yes, I know, you get what you pay for), I found the Daiwa Luvias range.

My question is, is there any major differences between the Luvias and The Luvias R range? I'm willing to go to about $450 on a rod, so the Luvias seems a pretty good fit

One I'm looking at is the Ultra Light, 7'1 2-6 Pnd model.

Has anyone had experience with these rods? They feel great to me, just after opinions
